'The Masoretic Torah is actually a sequence of the 22 Hebrew letters,
304,805 characters long with no spacing and no
punctuation. DNA is a program which codes for 22 distinct codons, 20
possible amino-acids and 2 action codons (start
and stop). We are developing computer software which can associate a
particular DNA codon with a particular Hebrew
letter. This allows us to search within the Torah for any of the
possible 140,000+ human genes. We have estimated that
there are over 700 possible genes encoded in the Torah and with
alternate splicing and genetic re-coding, the potential
is virtually unlimited.'
