I believe that my significant other is k awakened... but she has little or
none of the symptoms. One two or three occasions, she's had what looked like
kriyas... I must say that my own K doesn't seem to have left its resting
place at the base of my spine though I can feel the hot energy it is sending
up my back.
| 2. Others say that friends--sometimes living long distances away, have K
| experiences at around the same time.
Not me, as far as I am aware.
| 3. Still others have K active friends before they themselves become K
active.
I don't think that I have had close relationships with anyone whose K was
active before I learned what K was.
I learned about K and about techniques to awaken it from my teachers (people
as young as me) at the Gnostic Movement. It is when, 6 or 7 years ago, I
first tried Sexual Alchemy with the girl who is now my wife that I first
experienced heat along the spine... At the time it never occurred to me that
THIS was K. I thought it only was sexual energy, the transmutation of which
would eventually awaken K. Maybe I was right.... ?
To answer the question: my teachers at the Gnostic Movement, which included
a couple, could have been K awakened though they said nothing about it. They
were students themselves along the path.
Neither then nor now has my wife ever felt any heat along the spine.
| 4. And still others have K/mystical parents, siblings, and/or children.
Not that I am aware of, though I have a sister (we are 8 siblings... so we
know my father loved my mother at least 8 times!) who went through a
seemingly psychotic/hallucinatory period. What it related to an early
activation of K that went awry? Who knows! (Goddess knows!)

I happen to have a guru/teacher. Her name is Mystress Angelique Serpent...
and I definitely caught something from her last spring! ;-)
Some of you may remember the detailed account I made at the time of our
chat. She definitely set me in fire... hehe!
Another experience is when I taught the grounding meditation to one of my
friend. She didn't know anything about K and I hadn't told her yet about my
own K symptoms. We were sitting outside, face to face and I was leading her
through the meditation. Personally I did not feel anything that day. One we
were finished though, she told me with a puzzled/smiling face that she felt
heat in her lower back. I was quite surprised when she told me so.
So, I guess yes, Kundalini IS catching.
