Subject: [K-list] Kundalini and the Back

This is an edited version of something I posted to another
list which may be of interest to some here ..

Kundalini or natural Life Force energy rises from the root chakra
up through the Sushumi in the centre of the body.

Kundalini is the internal elemental energy of the Fire of Purification

In a state of deeper meditation, the brain is in Theta or Delta
and the mind control over both the nervous system of the body
and therefore the emotional response and awareness is reduced
in effect.

As K rises, it moves out through the nadis or subtle energy knots
and finds its way into the acupuncture meridians of the body
balancing those meridians.

This shifts the balance between "hot and cold chi" as it is known
in acupuncture circles .. and the manifestation is often of extreme burning
sensation in the organs you describe .. as toxins and impurities are literally
burned out of the system by this fire ..

This causes a release of muscle holding patterns and tension.

The next stage is a release of tension in the spine .. and quite often
the spontaneous correction of spinal sublaxations.

The Cardiac Pulminory Nerve exits from the spine in the space between
the vertebrae between T1 and T4.

Simultaneously, there is an effect on parts of the Right hemisphere
of the brain which signals this nerve.

The primary organ groups affected are the physical heart and the lungs.

Often there can be the experience of severe chest discomfort and pain
similar to a heart attack ..

The thymus is re-activated to its childhood functioning level
with a corresponding restoration of thyroid function
which impacts then on the lymphatic system .. including the spleen.

Thus, there will appear to be a reversal of many of the symptoms
of the aging process.

Note .. this description is specific to the symptoms that you describe.
There are many other effect sequences possible from spontaneous K.

The primary ages affected by a spontaneous Kundalini expression
(often called Spiritual Emergence) are birth, 2 years, 7 years,
puberty, 28 years, 42 years, 56 years, 70 years and 84 years.

These ages can vary according to whether physical birth was on
time, early or late ...

I would caution all readers of this information ...

that K has its own intelligence .. it should be given permission
to move as it will .. it should not be sought or directed .. nor
should there be any attempt to manipulate it as this can lead
to severe disturbances in the central nervous system

Some are probably aware of the work of
various people (primarily in the UK in the early 80's) on the probability
that some forms of Schizophrenia and MPD are the direct result of
mismanaged spontaneous K movement .. (Lee Sannella MD)
due to the fact that it releases a lot of physical holding pattern pain
and can result in hearing voices, clairvoyance (so called) and other
"psychic" phenomena .. which have in the past been associated
with witchcraft etc .. and are made "evil" by some religion ..

This leads to a fear bordering on paranoia if there is insufficient
faith, understanding and acceptance.

I personally have experienced previously broken and set bones
rebreaking and resetting .. and the movement up my spine
was very painful as I suffered severe congenital spondalitis
of which there is now very little trace.

The change in posture brought about can cause very severe pain
affecting the sacrum and the pelvic girdle .. leading to headaches
greater than those experienced by migraine sufferers..

As there is a re-arrangement in the support for the spine, it is normal
for the spinal column to move in its alignment such that any
sublaxations which are present will be highlighted by more severe pain.

A good chiropractor or osteopath can assist here.

There can be a further aggravation of back of heart pain as this is the
energetic midpoint between the pelvis and the back of the skull.
The vertebrae T6,7,8 are often frozen or "stuck" especially in one who
as a child had to close the heart. Those who fold their arms a lot are
most usually the worst affected ....

there is so much that could be written on this subject ..

I hope this explanation helps some from both the psycho emotional
and psychospiritual perspective.
