Unconditional love has no limits - that's why it is called unconditional :))
But from the perspective of say, tantric practice, one learns by what causes one to fall...

Never having been married or even had a loved one, I could not possibly know - but what I know is this:
When a situation is hopeless in a sense that it will endlessly repeat and no further
learning for those involved will result, take a very deep breath and cut all bonds,
no matter how painful - there is no other choice.
If you can manage, your experience in doing so will open the door to what could be called
"a new event horizon" - invisible from "where you are now". Perhaps, a new love...

Cut the proverbial tree but don't hang yourself - instead, think of the lotus flower
that grows in a muddy pond, unaffected by its dirt...

Blaming without forgiving could be called a "deadly sin"
Blaming but forgiving afterwards is called human
No blaming is called divine yet it is human :)
