Dear Sylvia,

Thanks for this fascinating story. Horrendous events seem to be wrapped up
in our DNA just as perhaps certain essences of "ghosts" seem to become part
of houses.

I wonder why some people open to seeing these things and others aren't?
Perhaps it is partly because these visions are "discouraged" in our
culture--just as past life memories are discouraged. A friend once said
something to the effect that Mystics simply see more of what is actually
*there.*

I find it interesting that part of your experience was a sensation of
*freezing*. This catalepsy seems to allow these "encounters" --through a
mental veil of some sort.
