Hello Amy,

 It looks like we're in the same club. My awakening was spontaneous
(through a series of events, trauma and life changes). All I knew is
that something extraordinary suddenly happened to me and I've never been
the same since. When the good people on this list start talking about
exotic meditations, famous swamis and elevating gurus, I'm pretty much
left on the side of the road, scratching my head.... duh.

But when there's talk of dreams and visions, when we open our selves up
expressing our feelings, perceptions, sexuality, humor.... and even
occasional frustration with each other, I realize what this community
consists of: We have here a colorful assortment of independent minded
voyagers who have broke through internal barriers that many people don't
even know they have.

As a result of our opening, we share a light above our heads that's
eternal, universal... divine Love... something beyond words and
religion.

Everything below that in us is like reflected love (?). Caring for
children and each other... expressing joy... creating love... growing
plants...

Or rhyme and reason. Talking, thinking, figuring, contemplating,
anticipating and hoop-dee-do and la-dee-da.

Or stacking bricks, chopping wood and carrying water...
Tuning guitars and driving cars...

And once in great while, a really good wild party.

Let the Holidays Begin,
