Subject: [K-list] Kundalini Research info request
From: Harsha

On 2000/12/20 13:10, Harsha posted thus to the K-list:
Regarding the query for information on Kundalini Research, Angelique gave
some good sources. If I recall, Swami Narayanananda's book on Kundalini -
Primal Power in Man....has a section discussing the relationship between
Kundalini and disease as well as Kundalini and hot and cold foods. However
he writes from a traditional perspective emphasizing celibacy and this is
often difficult for some audiences to accept. Dr. Lee Sanella's book on
Kundalini looks at the relationship of Kundalini and psychosis, although I
am not familiar with the details. If others have more information, perhaps
it should be shared on the lists.

Peace
Harsha

Have you visited our links page?

I would suggest you contact the Spiritual emergence Center.. Stan and
Christina Grof are probably the best known researchers into this phenomena.
Also the Kundalini Reasearch Foundation is likely to be helpful.
The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi University has also done a lot of research,
although most of it does not mention Kundalini by name.

I am forwarding your query to the Kundalini-gateway list, perhaps
members will be able to offer you more references.
(members, please send your responses directly to
