That "couldnt fall asleep for awhile" is very good. Actually, when it happens again, go into it. There is a channel open there, so to speak, where all knowledge comes in, Tree of Knowledge stuff.
The Star of David / Sri Yantra and the Tree of Jesse or Knowledge are connected. The thing that I believe Enki and Enlil fought about... Adam and Eve found IT (with the help of Enki as I understand it.) 'IT', the knowledge about "seed and seeds", planting and breeding, cultivation. This was the beginning of science (analysis of what seeds are, what sperm is) leading to agriculture and animal husbandry - procreation in a playfully controlled fashion. They named everything (Aum Nama...), the first database management system... Them two were quite something. The biblical story is the reverse of reality, a misinformation story to have us return to the status quo of the hunter/gatherer society(We are running that danger again with the anti genetic manipulation people and a bit too much interest in tribal stuff). That biblical kind of Yahweh was the first Ludite. Adam and Eve were not liked for their investigation and discoveries by that powerholder (Enlil as I understand it), as their discoveries would make the first humans (human divines) independent of the old cultural (cultic?) or tribal hierarchy.
There are so many old pictures and stories that show the other side... non verbal.... Well, I'm sure you know the pictures (see attachments). Gilgamesh was after it... (gate gate gate... the other shore, the other side of the river, Styx, Hades stuff, "Orfeo and Euredice" material. I am playing Gluck's version (classical composer) at the moment which has an happy ending... hoorah.)
When I say Tree of Life I do not want to make too strong a connection to the Sephiroth although the glyphs on the right in the picture "tree of life in the garden of immortality, may show some early stage of it. The "sumtree" picture has quite a few triangles pointing upwards as well as downwards so there maybe a connection to the Sri Yantra or Star of David and Sephiroth as well.
Anyway, nothing wrong with the Sephiroth, but I think we tend to get led astray by over-induction, deduction and analysis. Kabalic Sephirophiles have that strong tendency. Same as what happens with Sri Yantra deliberations, I hope Antoine is somewhat aware of this. Everything is read into those energy patterns mentally, verbally, and semantically so that *language free knowledge* gets lost. It makes us lose the connection with preverbal energetic, patterned knowledge.
So Susan keep at it the same way as you are... but... it is not for nothing that you could not fall asleep easily...
When I went through my great vision and ecstasy in Italy (San Gemignano) and later in the second part of my 'Adam's Kundalini' memory and vision, the non sleeping part was extremely important, that is when all that preverbal, universal knowledge poured in. At the same time on a different level of consciousness, I was making great speeches in all languages (like the apostles after the fiery tongues episode) and although initially (another level of consciousness again) I thought that all this had to do with some megalomania..., the typical negative self judgement according to the sentence given to Adam by the pseudo God Yahweh, I persisted and passed the test.
Same must have happened with Jesus when he went through his 40 desert days.
So when you stay awake see that you can make use of it.., you were not sleeping anyway... after a while you will fall asleep and wake up in that akashic memory area. True I had to take a few goes at it..., surrender surrender is still the word... and who said that not sleeping is not good.
