Subject: [K-list] she comes, she goes...
From: Debora A. Orf

On 2000/12/13 16:09, Debora A. Orf posted thus to the K-list:

Two teachers of mine have advised quite wisely, don't get attached to the
things like the visions, bliss & journeys of spirit.

They come and they go, like the ocean's tide cycles. Nothing wrong when
the are here, and nothing wrong when they are gone.

Mine have receded, mostly out of a plea to stop interrupting my
meditations with annoying visions that distracted the focus. Bliss is
quite addictive. When one is trying to reduce desire it is a challenge ;).

but things can be used for the path too, if one has the skill.

Buddha said 84,000 gates to the dharma that frees from suffering. Who's to
say how they manifest to each being.

maitri,
