Over the years, I have had an experience on waking that I've always
been curious and full of wonder about. It doesn't happen very often
and a couple of years went by when I did not have the experience. But
then, just a few days ago, just before I joined the list, I had it
again. Yesterday, I was thinking--maybe I could ask the list if anyone
has had the experience and could offer some insight. And along came
your post. Amazing.

So, what I experience is: just before awaking in the morning, my
inner vision is filled with a very ordered geometric design in vivid
colors. It's like looking at a stained glass window, because the
design is filled with light and "sits" on or is filled with soft gold
light. The design itself and its colors have varied over the years, but
the consistent feature is the precisely ordered pattern. Your
description of the linked, crystalline structure sounded so similar.

What is it? If anyone has any thoughts, they would be appreciated.
