[I have some basic questions. ...
1. I've now read a couple of books and several links via websites. A
couple have instructed to "stay in your third eye," in order to avoid
"excessive emotions" during the experience. Other have recommended
staying "in the heart."...<snip>
my K"risings" seem to go the way they need to go, and I now feel little need
to "stay" anywhere as it proceeds, except, perhaps, to keep my attention
focused on IT. There's an intelligence there I cannot deny, and the
insights often seem to flow both during and afterward. If anything, what
I've often felt is a direct energetic link between my heart and my third
eye, very palpable at times, so I don't think I could "stay" in either
even if I wanted to. What are your insights and experiences? Am I
missing something important here?]

Dear Mark,

Well, if you are missing something important here, then I am too! :)) Once
the K energy activates, I believe the best thing to do is let it do its work
without interference. To try to force it where it doesn't want to go, I
think is potentially asking for trouble. My energy bounces around from the
sex chakras to the heart to the head--blissing me out--and then it begins the
cycle again. I give it free reign unless it becomes intolerably intense, and
then I either do Hatha Yoga or go out in the garden and rake up some leaves.
:)

The following is from *Awakening the Life Force* by Swami Rajarshi Muni p. 165

...At this jucture it should be pointed out that the real mastery over the
body is achieved not by the willful practice of the techniques mentioned
above, but by the spontaneous manifestations of those activities in a
seeker's body. One does not need to make an effort of will; it happens
automatically as the consciousness of the seeker shifts spontaneously from
the level of the gross body.. to the next immediate sheath, the subtle energy
body...
No sooner does such a shift of consciousness take place than Prana takes
over control of the body from the mental will, giving rise to the spontaneous
manifestations of various postures, breathing patterns..., and different
processes aimed at purifying the body. This is a gradual process, but a sure
one for finally breaking the connection between consciousness and the gross
body...

[2. I have to wonder, does this process eventually cool down? I feel like
I'm at the edge, nearly out of control. ]

Well, I've found that after a little over 4 years of this, that it isn't so
much that it cools down (although I suspect it does a bit), but that we tend
to get used to it--incorporate it so to speak into our day to day life.
Adjusting to it, in short.

[I'm often exhausted, and have
several times awakened in the middle of the night to find myself in the
midst of it, or feeling as if it will take off at any moment, which it
often does, sometimes when I'm so tired I don't want to do anything but
go back to sleep.]

Yeah! That's amazing isn't it? As if the energy wakes us up in order to
experience it! I still wake up as a rule at least twice a night. Last night
I must have woken up 4 or 5 times. The full moon effect! LOL. (Last night
the energy was "affectionate." ) Since I don't *have* to get up in the
morning, I don't worry about getting enough sleep--but I find I get up
relaxed at ATnospam 8 am every morning. But during the night I generally go right
back to sleep--accepting that the energy does its work better when *I* am not
involved.

[Then at other times, I'm ready and welcome it. I just
feel so blissful and grateful! ]

So do you tend to stay awake at these junctures? If you do and have to get
up to work in the morning, I can see why you might not get enough sleep.

[Another thing: my chakras are often super
sensitive, revving up with the least bit of attention, and often waking
me up they are so super-charged! I feel as if my body or my cells are
struggling to keep up with all this extra energy, yet the level of
energy itself keeps me from getting the rest I think I need.]

It's easy to tense up during these energy surges--which naturally tires the
body. Have you tried to consciously relax?

[ A long walk
in the woods is one of my few remedies. Any suggestions or insights?]

This is obviously a great solution. It gets the body activated so diffuses
the energy somewhat; it distracts you; and finally it relaxes the body--the
best of all worlds!

[I continue to have almost daily (nightly, actually) K experiences, each
one different. It seems the more I let K do what it needs to do, the
more intense the experience and the more I get out of it.]

Sounds to me that everything is going exactly as it should! :))

[Thanks again for all your help. This is a great list!]

Yes! I agree! Amazing! Glad you are here!

Love, Hillary
