  Hmm.. I brought it up, so I will respond. My beloved percyval, has lyme
disease. He has had it for 13 years, and tried every kind of treatment, and
I have tried with all my arts to lift it, but it is not to be. I have been
instructed to stop trying.
It has purpose. We do not know the purpose. His own guidance has said
it is not for him to know.

I do know, that to everyone who knows him well, percyval is a profound
inspiration. That he is able to deal with constant pain and a debilitating
illness which leaves him pretty much confined to a reclining chair, yet
still be so kind, generous and openhearted is perhaps a greater miracle
than his healing would be. His beauty strikes me dumb with awe. He is
blessed with profound grace, a living saint.

   The effects of K. are mixed.. on one hand, provoking intense energy
seems to have worsened his illness.. Lyme disease is a virus that attacks
the nervous system.. but on the other, it has improved his wellbeing and
joy in life immeasurably..

I'm sure he will tell it, if he feels up to the exertion.. :)

Speaking of which, since no one has volunteered to take over from
percyval as editor of the edited digest version of the K-list, members of
that list will be transferred to the regular K-list digest in 3 days, and
the edited digest list will be deleted.
