Dear Richard, List,

A similar thing resulted from my practice of Hatha Yoga asanas. I suspect
that subtle breath control that goes with them, was, in part, the cause of
the unleashing of this energy. I agree that it can't all be attributed to
the release of endorphins, and agree that increasing oxygen to the system has
something to do with it--but neither really explains why it causes
metaphysical experiences and the connection with the powerful affect on the
sexual centers. My experience is that sexual energy combined with breath
control triggers the metaphysical (Kundainini?) energy, which in turn
increases the sexual energy. So my question is, what is the relationship
between Kundalini and Prana? Is it simply a matter of degree? The zaps I
feel up the spine are certainly connected with all this--but for me, very
little of the bliss stems from spinal activity.

Ahhh! The Prana vs Kundalini debate! Where oh where has Kurt gone? :))

Love, Hillary
