Hello Christabelle. There is an analogy which may relate to what is
happening.

I hadn't been to any channellings for many many years but I did go to
one a while ago. St Francis came. It was most beauteous. The energy in
the room was ecstasy actually.

I asked him a question & this is the answer he gave .. I won't
remember his specific words but it went sorta like this ..

Imagine a glass of water which has some sediment in it. As clear
clean water is poured in, then the sediment rises, muddies the water
in the glass & eventually exits, & the clean clear water remains.

We can think of the glass as the container of our conscious awareness.
 We may think of the sediment & mud as the repressed emotions &
conditioned thoughts which limit expression as pure consciousness.
They hide in the unconscious & may rise into the light of awareness
before being felt & released.
