Oh, the list is very funny today.. Watch out for Yin-Yang! It is toxic
in high doses and very fattening, .. ROTFLOL!!
Waiter, I'd like a plate of Kundalini with cloned Cheesus, and a side
order of Yin-Yang.. and pranayama ding-dongs for dessert.

I'm just kidding... not making fun of you, Anne, just having fun with
myself..

Yin-Yang is non-toxic. It is the principle of duality expressed as
male-fem qualities. Yin is feminine, receptive, soft.. Yang is masculine,
aggressive, hard and unyielding. Clouds are Yin, soft, lightning is
yang=destructive. Everyone has yin and yang qualities in their persona,
just as everyone has a fem side and a male side within them. We all have
hard bones and soft brains.
There is no avoiding Yin-yang, it is part of Creation. Part of you.
It is represented by the symbol of the Tao, Yin-yang both sides unified
in perfect balance with each quality having some of the other in it. The
Tao can be seen as two serpents spiralling around each other upwards, seen
from above... the ascent of Kundalini. For an explanation of Kundalini, I
suggest you visit the K-list website. The url is at the bottom of every post.

The Tao which can be described is not the Tao.. which follows along
with the Zen concept of how the higher chakra experiences cannot be
expressed in words. That's why Zen Koans are confusing and if you ask a Zen
master about it s/he will say something like "if a tree falls in the forest
with no-one to hear it, does it make a sound?" or "The dharma is the hedge
at the bottom of the garden".

The principle of non-duality is simple to explain but may take years to
experience. It is simply that everything is made of light, everything is
love.. God/Goddess/Buddha nature/the Self is All that Is.
So, if you think something is not love or light then the error lies in
your perceptions.. everything really is light, and it all has Divine
purpose but we see the illusion of shadows and darkness because our eyes
are dimmed by the Veil of separation that is the ego, which hides from us
our memories of our own Divine origin. Clearing those negatively judgmental
perceptions is the process of dismantling the ego self.. clearing Karma..
which is the process of Kundalini.

A very simplistic explanation, I'm sure other members will respond
with more detail, but I hope that helps your confusion.
Blessings!
