I am familiar with this one. Like a tingling and heat sensation on the top
of the head. Even itching sometimes. I've had it on and off for periods of
time and never really saw or heard a description about what it is.
My own explanation is that this sensation is caused when we are bringing
down much energy from above and the crown os not yet completely "clean" and
therefore not fully transparent. Or another way of putting it would be that
the crown has not had time to adapt itself to increased energy flow. The
friction caused when large amounts of energy passes the crown then causes
the symptoms. If this is a correct explanation this feeling on the head is
likely to occur after major openings or spiritual breakthroughs. The
sensation would then ease when the energy flow has "cleared" the crown.
My guess is that when you write on your book you are tapping an outside
source for information and since information on one level is equal to energy
you will feel this sensation until your crown has adapted itself to this
increased energy flow.
