Uh-huh.. I'm not surprised, altho last time I was channel surfing they
were waiting for Florida to recount.
Personally, I've mostly been avoiding American politics. Canadians
dread US election time because we get your TV signals.. but even without TV
it is unavoidable. I've been getting political spam, ...
Yesterday I got a political post from Dan Winter asking people to beg
their friends to vote for Gore. Even tho I only read about 10 lines it
sparked some clear incoming visionary info... That Bush would win, and
about the shape of things to come. It wasn't pretty. The essence of it was
that destruction is necessary to new creation, and how people sometimes
have to hit bottom before they can begin to ascend. What Is.
Robert Heinlein is one of my Gurus.. an inspiration. As well as
writing extraordinary visionary SF, he invented the waterbed, described the
Internet, and predicted the creation of a solid fuel cell I saw half
invented on the science fiction channel the other night. He also predicted
the election of a Christian right President who would become a dictator and
create a completely repressive witch hunting society. If I remember
correctly, he also predicted it being overturned by wholesale bloody
revolution about 10 years later.

Huh. Maybe that's why my power chakra has felt like a smoking black
hole all day.

You are not the only person I have heard of, who plans to leave the US
if Bush got elected..
I have English friends.. they would like to move to Canada.
Canada traditionally has been very open to American political refugees..
from black slaves to Vietnam draft dodgers.
Today an American friend who wants to emigrate to Canada sent me a dream
from one of her friends. The dream described the physical location of the
Mansion Project perfectly, and the community around it in a way that is
synchronistically in tune with my own vision.. lovely.. and populated with
her friends, who are all Americans.
What am I building here, Goddess? Is the Mansion project a sanctuary
for American spiritual/political refugees? The idea makes my head spin.

Wait indeed.. Canada is in the midst of a federal election, too.. The
race is between the current Prime Minister, Jean Cretien, and a guy named
Stockwell Day, .. Fundie Christian pro-lifer who wants to bring back the
death penalty. Scary. I've never been terribly political, but I'm thinking
of volunteering for the campaign against this guy!
I hope Canadians show better sense than our southern neighbors.
