Shadows In The Light

I play through my old CDs
seeking wavelengths of emotion, encoded;
for the demons of ´92.

They are´t there.

They must have been integrated into my heart
(like everything else)

This heart…
(oh this heart!)
It can swallow sea and sky
all at once
‘till there´s nothing left.

It´s so consuming.

And I know for once,
so sure,
that I have become everthing
that I have feared.

(and it is so beautiful)

I scan the darkness and the shadows
one last time
for what imprisoned me…

I can not find the demons,
no matter how hard I look…

They are shadows in the light.
