 It was very beautiful, and in honor of Mother Theresa and an unusually
quiet moon, I'm moved to declare a few days amnesty on forwarded
inspirational writings.. if there is something you did not write yourself
but have found inspirational to your process, please take a moment this
week to share it with the list! Be respectful of copyrights, that is the
law not a list guideline.. give credit where credit is due.

 It feels like the energy has everyone turned inward, October moons can
have that effect, coming up to Samhain/Halloween. Kundalites are tuned to
the seasons, and this is the season of harvest and death, and impending
cold. Time to gather round the fires and share favorite stories of myth and
wisdom.

 I don't have much to say these days either... I'm spending time
clearing my psyche inside and out. Watching the bubbles of thought float by
as I work at fall cleaning, watching the slow fall of autumn leaves and the
death of my garden.
I cut a heavy head off a sunflower and contemplated the death of the
flower and the life potential in the seeds. So beautiful..

Seems like it's an introspective season. I'm clearing my insides by
sweeping my home, sorting thru boxes of stuff that has not been unpacked in
2 years or more and wondering at my attachments... what a strange harvest I
have gathered, and squirrelled away in forgotten boxes in my mind and in my
home.
   I ponder the synchronicity of the city having a garbage collectors
strike just when I am wanting to discard a lot of attachments.. and other
insignificant thought bubbles that float by and are not worth
mentioning.. so I have not much to say.. but it is still nice to feel the
group consciousness of the k-list community.
What a warm place this is, I feel blessed to know you all. I hope this
period of introspection brings you fruitful harvests. Blessed be!

If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful,
You will win some false friends
and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank,
People may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone
could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
They may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
People will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have.
And it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you have anyway.
You see, in the final analysis,

It is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

  The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the
source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger,
who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as
dead: his eyes are closed.
Albert Einstein, in 'What I Believe' 1930
