  Yep, thanks!

Patience, yes. Sometimes too much patience, even.. how to say?
This past month I've been feeling a need to shed some stuff, so I have
been going deeper and deeper into the Witness state. It is lovely.. so
peaceful.. the problem is when I'm so much at peace I have no motivation to
do anything.
Perhaps we are speaking about different aspects of the Witness.. for
me it is a peaceful, unemotional state where I'm not actually in my body.
Observing the play of light that is manifestation, and all of it perfect
and no need to do anything about anything. No need to write emails or clean
my house or do a thing but sit on my ass under the Boddhi tree glowing. I
would not say it is compassionate because I associate compassion with
action and there is no motive to action. I would say it is unconditional love.
Yup, and writing about it I got back into it and lost the motivation
to finish this email.

I think yer cute! Very dignified looking with white wild scientist

   Sure!
Here is a transcript of a video I made on the topic:
As the Shakti starts moving within you, it's gonna start to push on a lot of
blocked emotional baggage. And some people find this very hard to deal with,
because, you know, their emotions are going a little wild. But there is a
way to detach from the emotional content of the karma that's being released
within you, and simply let it move on through you and observe it. Being in
this state of detachment is referred to as "the witness state". So now I'm
gonna teach you how to get into the witness state.

Now, first of all, as with all of our lessons, I want you to get grounded.
If you like, pause this for a moment, and get grounded. And then start it
again. Good. Alright then. I want you to imagine that you're an actor.
You're an actor who's in the middle of filming a movie. Alright? Now, you're
on the set. You're completely involved with what's going on with yourself
and the other actors. And as an actor, as a good actor, you've actually
forgotten that it's a movie. You're completely involved in your role, and
expressing the emotions of the role, and that's what you're doing. That's
what real life is like for most folks.

Now, I want you to think about the director. Okay? I want you to think that
somewhere behind the scenes up in a crane, way up behind you, is the
director of this film, who' sitting they're observing what the actors are
doing. Now, it may be that in this scene, one of the actors is murdering
one of the other ones, or something like that, but the director doesn't
judge that. Alright? The director does not judge what is happening; the
director observes it. So if the director is filming a war scene, or fight
scene, or something like that, the director doesn't judge what the actors
are doing, because he knows that it's a movie. He's much more interested in
how well the actors are doing with it, what they're saying, and the overall
shooting of the movie, and the bigger picture of what's going on.

So to get into the witness state, what you do is become aware of yourself as
the actor in your own life. And you become aware of the spark of
consciousness inside of your body, that is you, and you simply withdraw from
that. Imagine that you're leaving yourself, and are going up and back,
behind yourself. Up and back, behind yourself, and as you move from here to
there, what you'll find is that you leave most of your emotions behind.
You'll be aware that the body may be in an emotional state, but instead of
being engaged in the emotions, you're watching yourself have the emotions,
from the standpoint of the observer, which is above and behind you.

Now, what you find, is when you really get into that state, that the
observer sees your whole life much differently than you do. Again, the
witness doesn't judge what the actors are doing. He judges whether or not
what they're doing is effective from the big picture. So from the
perspective of being the witness, or being the director, you get a lot more
information about what's really going on in the scene, than you do when
you're being the actor, who's playing the role, and having the emotions, and
living the life.

So spend some time practicing that. Practice stepping back from yourself,
as if you're seeing yourself from behind almost, and observing yourself
acting in your life. Become aware that there are different parts to your
psyche. There is the doer that does, and there is the watcher that watches.
That's the witness state. It is detachment, and it's very important to
learn. So please experiment with it, and practice it, and you'll know that
you're really in the witness state, because that state is not emotional. It
is a very peaceful state where there are no emotions. Your body may be
having emotions, but the witness is not emotional.
