Barbara Hand Clow, who wrote "the Liquid Light of Sex", postulates
that mid-life crisis is the unrecognized natural awakening of K and
gives many examples of why she thinks that is so.

K awakening is more than a re-alignment of energies but a creation of
a new being, an evolutionary process. You are suggesting we create a
classification of the developmental stages of kundalini rising...very
cool. I think our eastern friends have done it but we need to
reinterpret in western language. Also the eastern system will need to
be altered because of western cultural differences.

Some already just call it life force. Westerners also call it 'the
Holy Spirit' or Goddess.

Actually, birth, if done appropriately, will make the baby smile and
coo. :) and the experience for the mother has been known to be
orgasmic. Just a matter of perceptions, true, but an important
distinction cause perceptions shape beliefs which predict experiences.

There is a birthing movement out there led by a russian male midwife
who advocates and uses dolphins as midwives for birth.

What if we had trained k midwives who assisted in the birth of k in a
person? The east calls them gurus. The guru factor doesnt seem to
translate well on this side of the ocean. The word carries too much
emotional and karmic baggage.

Someone like Wim or Mystress would be excellent midwives cause they
have so much experience. Midwives really are just facilitators and
only intervene if necessary. They give comfort and security just by
their presence.

Compare hospital births to home births and so why do we wonder why
some are so afraid of and have such horrible experiences of a natural
event. If I don't know anything about birthing babies I would be
terrified at the event. Since I have attended a few births as a nurse
I no longer have any terror.I think this analogy can be carried over
to k awakening.

How wonderful would it be to not only have k midwives but k elders in
attendance, their presence bringing additional blessing and
stablility
to k awakening?

not to be sexist, but I was never obsessed with sex at puberty... a
lot of people aren't...male and female.

Some of us experience this different than you. I am not trying to be
contrary only use this example to show how truly different k
awakenings can be just as life can be very different for everyone.

For some people at the

Some of us on the list speculate that adrogeny may be the final
result
of k awakening.

I am not sure if i understand the seduction aspect but I do know that
permanent change does come from within and k seems to create change
from within. If people seem to act psychotic or strange from inside
change just telling them what they feel and see is normal for k
awakening creates some feelings of peace and relaxation for them. At
least they know they are not alone in the fantasy science fiction
story they seem to have awakened in.
