Blythe- Put me down on the tally as one that was for and moved by your post
"The awakening"

Amy- Here come the flames. (just kidding) My thoughts are there are so
many layers to awakening and it deserves from each of us individually to
observe this experience from many perspectives. This is just one and
apropos as well.

I spent the first half of life building up the ego self, following all the
rules and eagerly acquiring the knowledge taught to us by our parents,
schools, government, friends and lovers...... All exterior to Self and true
to everyone but our Self. I realize that all we build our lives around the
false ....to but it crassly, the foundation is for shit. We have 3 options.
One- never awakens to this fact and lead a life in "happy" ignorance. Two -
recognize the falsity of the world and resolve one's self to a cynical
existence. Or three, see the truth and use the disappointment, anger,
frustration etc. to fuel change and spend the second half of the life
tearing down the ego to a reasonable and healthy size.

This "ego realization" aspect is but one perspective of my overall awakening
experience. The K energy is another but not unrelated! I firmly believe
the realization and integration of the above directly impacts the subtlety
and / or force with which this energy moves through out my body. Until one
can remove the mental blocks, attachments, and falsehoods of a lifetime(s),
the K will raise hell....so to speak.

If one is unfortunate enough to be on "path number one" ("happy" ignorance),
all is peachy until a spontaneous K trigger comes along and their life blows
apart and quite literally the ego fragments and the physical symptoms go
haywire. For one that has already turned the corner and starting to bring
their life into true harmony with their divine Self, the K maybe actually
arise as a product of a life in balance and enfold in a blissful experience.
(Unfortunately we all have the hidden attachments that rise up to surprise
use particularly during this age of time). So, perhaps viewing the
seemingly superficial, emotional aspect of life becomes as important a piece
in understanding, at least on some level, the physical, sometimes
life-havocing manifestations of a K experience.

I would be interested in hearing the thoughts of the experts on the
subject.....I'm still very new to the experience and perhaps dangerously
naïve. The above seems so clear to me however, though I have no knowledge
other than my own experience of a couple years and my intuition upon which
to draw.

Blythe, thanks again for a heart warming and affirming piece that rings of
truth for me. It leads me one step closer to knowing myself.

Onward and upward

Gerry
