Blythe,

Although I respect your right to post to the list, I find "The Awakening" to
be almost insulting. I think it indirectly implies that "awakening" is a
purely psychological event that transpires when we are frustrated with our
lives and the people around us. Maybe it's true that things can magically
fall into place that way, but that certainly hasn't been my experience. I
have found "awakening" to be an incredibly difficult journey over which I
have little control, a transformation that can not in any way be summarized
in a Hallmark card or on a poster with a hot air balloon on it.

I would not even mention this, because I don't want to create conflict. But
my concern is that someone who is experiencing difficult physical kundalini
symptoms for the first time would come to the list, read this, and think
they are in the wrong place.

Feel free to flame me! It's just my two cents, that's all.

Best,

amy

<<The Awakening

A time comes in your life when you finally get it . . . when in the
midst of all your fears and insanity you stop dead in your tracks and
somewhere the voice inside your head cries out: ENOUGH! Enough
fighting and crying or struggling to hold on. And, like a child
quieting down after a blind tantrum, your sobs begin to subside, you
shudder once or twice, you blink back your tears, and through a
mantle of wet lashes you begin to look at the world through new eyes.
This is your awakening...>>
