Hi Marek, Jay,

I agree that diet has a lot of effect on K. In fact, one of the
primary physiological engines of an awakened K is in the GI tract. In
Taoism they call the GI tract "the cauldron."

Once K is awakened, a process of sublimation occurs in the GI tract
where a mixture of food, sexual essence and air are "cooked" by the K-
activated digestive fire to create the refined energy which permeates
the rest of the body with great force, producing many other
physiological purifications and changes as it goes. So, what we put
in that cauldron is important.

That said, the reason I did not mention diet in my first note to Jay
is because my experience has been that "blocked" K energy situations
are not as affected by diet as "runaway" K situations are. "Blocked"
K energy is usually a smaller amount of energy hitting up against
resistence in the body/mind, creating an irritation, or symptom.
Working through the barrior using exercise and other means seems to
have a greater effect to lessen the pressure and ease the symptom
than trying to quell the K in the GI tract does. With runaway K the
symptoms are usually different. Blocks are generally blown through by
runaway K and the symptoms of that are more global, whole body, with
no particular area being the focus. Everything is the focus with
runaway K. Diet is very important in that situation, as the symptoms
can only be reduced by reducing the flow near its source, the GI
tract.

An analogy would be a clogged pipe. Just a little water pressure will
get stuck at the clog and there is your "blocked" symptom. If the
water pressure is high, the clog is forced through the pipe and you
have a bunch of mud to deal with at the end of the pipe,
your "runaway" global symptoms. A good way to stop the low pressure
blocked symptom is to let some pressure be there and break the block
down (by banging on the pipe) so the water can pass through. This is
the exercise scenario. In the high pressure situation, an effective
way to stop the mud from squirting out the end of the pipe is to slow
down the water at its source. This is the GI tract/diet strategy. Of
course, you could turn up the water even more and flush the pipe out
until it is clean. But the old rusty pipe might not survive the
pressure, so that is why we all tend to seek to reduce the pressure
rather than go for the complete K cleanout all at once. This is why I
keep asking the question, "How can we get more water though this old
rusty pipe so we can get it cleaned out faster?" There is no easy
answer to this question. So we grin and bear it as the process
continues for many years.

As for managing the cauldron, a lighter diet will generally create
more K, while a heavier diet will generally slow down K. There are
many nuances to this balancing act. I have been a vegetarian for most
of the time since the early 70s, but at times have gone to fish and
chicken to slow the energies down. I have not done red meat in all
this time, but have read that this puts an additional damper on K.
Perhaps others have experiences to share on different diets and K
results? (Hillary, is this yet another K trigger/non-trigger?) Those
who eat red meat every day and still have runaway K will probably
have to eat rocks and dirt. Only kidding! :-)

So, Jay, if you feel your K is in runaway mode (global symptoms) as
well as in blocked mode (local symptoms), you might wish to try a
heavier diet as well as the exercise. That's your call. There have
been times years ago when I used everything I could find in the K
tool kit just to keep myself alive and functioning. If this is one of
those times for you, then do whatever is necessary to get your
stability back.

There are other measures, some less quick to implement, I can suggest
if you are interested. Let me know.

Best wishes,
Bob
