Sure there are. I was one. I was terrified of being loved by the most
sacred and ecstatic source of love there is....because i thought i
was so unloveable, so unlovely. Where did i learn that I was anything
less than beautiful, anything less than divine?

The first time I felt the frequence of joy and love showered upon me,
I cringed. Who am I to feel such bliss and ecstasy?

I had to take baby steps to allow such a wonderful expression into my
life, retrain myself because my idea of divine love was inside up and
upside down and outside in and backwards, a distorted mirror of
perfection. Sadly, many people are terrified of being loved as they
are, imperfect in their own eyes.

I thought love and beauty was suppose to hurt. The Divine pursued me,
patiently and compassionately, showing me love in it's extensions of
itself until I was able to let it into my life in all it forms.

I am still learning to surrender to joy and ecstasy and love. When I
surrender that is when Shakti is most manifest and resonant in me.
Now the bliss and love i cringed from i embrace.
