This week on Science and the Outer Streams:
Part 1 of 3: Bishop William E. Swing explains the significance of the
United Religious Initiative (URI) Charter. Religions the world over
have agreed to join together under this formally constituted
organization dedicated to promoting mutual tolerance and denouncing
any form of religiously-motivated violence. Bishop Swing has pursued
this charter since 1993, and hopes it will promote "peace among
religions for the sake of the entire order of life." He is the author
of the book "The Coming United Religions." Host is Pittsburgh
Theosophical Society President Andy Nesky.
