Your letter makes some of the same points that friends of mine who are
Native American have told me; that the way shamanism is taught in workshops
is completely out of the cultural context. They have basically laughed at
me when I talk about shamanism workshops. I had gone to some, and decided
to not pursue it for a while.
For now I am working more on my spiritual growth, and I think if shamanism
is meant to be part of my path that will become clear. Right now it's not
clear at all, so I'm not pursuing it.
I plan to read some of the sites you mentioned. Thanks for those.
