Hi Carla,

Maybe some will say I never achieved true witness
state. I disagree. I can watch and be a participant in
my own life.<

I have been working on a bit similair problem. I call
it sometimes the Outsider state or just being stuck or
uncentered. And I did make the mistake of thinking
this was the Observer state when I got involved with
some yoga years ago. My outsider state seems to be
linked with fear / inability to love and receive it -
being somehow numb. And it leads to suppressing
things... building dams. It was this state this
morning when I told my inner spirit in the middle of
an unexpected bliss: "Is it possible to get these
energies down - I want to have my morning coffee and
cigarette in peace." Oh, my God, the way ahead looks
long... The beautiful part of the story is that I
have recently asked help for my smoking habit.

It is good to "know" that we are not our passing
mental states. I am not the shame that fills me now -
and for sure I am not numb...

There was a lot of good stuff in your letter. Well
done.

Be well,
Sasse
