Just because everything has value, doesn't mean that the Cosmic doesn't
'judge' it. The fact that it is being stated that something (here
everything) has value, is in itself a judgement. The value system of the
cosmos is most likely very different from that of humanity. Humanities
values change, whereas the cosmos is fixed in this regard. If it's "values"
weren't fixed, then we could not speak of such things as 'cosmic law'.
When we speak of 'karma' or literally 'cause and effect' we are in fact
speaking of some kind of cosmic justice that is superior and infallible to
our own limited worldly view.
Yet, if 'all actions were equal' there would be no need to think in terms of
karma, as making love and rape would hold the same 'value' or in this case,
equally valueless.
The Egyptians stated that at the end of our lives, it is we who judge
ourselves. Yet, from what new found basis of reality is this judgement to be
made from? For them, it was from the perspective of the neters, or gods,
ie..cosmic law.
I can love you unconditionally, but that still doesn't mean I will let you
abuse me, or violate my dignity. Unconditional love is not an excuse to
condone immature (ie..'bad') behaviors. The cosmos set limits immediately
after it started expanding from its great center point. Parents set limits
to assist children, all limits are based on value judgements.
As for Goddess, according to the Book of the Dead, she very much judges, and
her name is Maat - Truth (and Justice).
