Hi List!

The most I could find on otters was in only one of my symbolism books
(a good little one, The Herder Symbol Dictionary, ISBN 0933029039).
It says:
Otter: It is a lunar symbolic animal. In some American Indian
cultures and in Africa, its pelt plays a role in initiation rites.
In Europe it sometimes occurs as a pyschopomp ("spirit guide").

Sounds like maybe a spirit guide is trying to find a way to get thru
regarding some new info coming down the pike?

Resonance. Your intention attracts, or magnetizes, that which
resonates with that intention. Beliefs dictate the intention . . .
Compression is taking in that which resonates and making it manifest.

Abuse. That's some deep stuff. I guess I'm fortunate enough to have
grown up with a minimum of it - just the occasional old Perv groping
me as a kid. I wasn't beaten (if you don't count the occasional
spanking) or verbally abused (if you don't count when my mom called
me "white trash" - that was a hoot!) Still tho, I have carried
along my own baggage, fears, traumas, significant life events. I was
jaded, not at 3 or 5, but by 11 or 12. Mind you, I'm not out to
diminish what abuse survivors have lived thru. In fact, I marvel at
human resilience! I can't begin to know how I would have managed
or "turned out." I get an image of a wider, deeper chasm in the self
with abuse (and other such atrocities). A wider chasm to face, to
figure out how to cross, to build a bridge from the heart to the
universe. Maybe the Warrior Suit helps for a while, eh?
