Isadora, I don't speak for the list. I want to say that some of your basic
responses about insurance do also ring true for me. I agree, in my world,
that it is a good idea to have some and also see your point about others
having to make serious contributions of their own money to help out a
relative who could have spent a modicum of money to avoid high expenses in a
potential situation where a bad outcome had a higher probability than not.
Again, this is my view, I surely know it is not the view of others.

I do respect the others on the list also and the various opinions that I have
seen on this subject. They are from adults who make their own decisions.

I think that for me, the crux of these posts back to you on your views of
insurance are a lot of people trying to tell you that maybe it is a good idea
to respect the choice's of others without judgments. The insurance
discussion seems to have become a vehicle for that rather than the main
point, in my opinion.

There are a lot of "should" words in your messages and I think you are
touching some buttons. Imagine if you just accepted what everyone said as
right for them and as best as it could possible be. Try it for a minute.

Love Lou
