Paul and group,
Someone wrote to me and wanted to know what the Gypsy Queen's purpose
was in life. My answer was to be truly happy.
She eats voraciously, everything in sight and then finds a place that
will become her home and attch herself to the bark of a tree, until
she emerges into a moth.
She is very large and white, and she will start to sing her song and
send out her fragrance until every male within distance will come and
mate with her..again and again. And then she will lay her eggs in
that one place she has selected and die. It's a short life, filled
with pleasure and happiness. She will never know flight, because she
does not fly, only the males do. She'll leave her eggs and maybe
will be reincarnated again to start all over again. Surprisingly
these moths are active during the daylight and are the most
destructive of any moth in North America.
I have enough land where they can have a feast and not kill
everything
off. Once upo a time I thought I should kill them because they are so
devasting. I was only buying in to commercial propaganda. Now I
allow
them to BE, and they spare me devastation. I work with nature and
plant beautiful things and have never been stung or hurt by any
living
thing, bee, knat, spider or whatever. Ticks won't come near me
either. It's amazing what you can do when you connect spiritually
with
your environment.
