Dear List,

The tendency to objectify subjective experiences is well known. In the
spiritual realm we call them 'demons' or 'angels' and place responsibility
onto them for our feelings, actions, or thoughts.

Whether or not you believe in the objective reality of such entities, or
believe them all to be projections from the individual's subconscious, one
thing is important:

"As above, so below" or better yet, "As within, so without".

Meaning, it is impossible for something to influence us unless we have a
sympathetic relationship with it first. We have within our psyche the
totality of 'good' and 'evil' and as such if such a thing is happening, then
it is simply to point out what we need to address within ourselves.
