I use widdershins circles almost exclusively, because that is the
direction the K-Fire Serpents spiral upwards. Certainly it would bring up
your stuff to be released.. it is a banishing circle, effective for
clearing Karma to make room for Divine Will.
Deosil circles (clockwise) are for gathering energy, to apply to
free-will based desires. Wicca is "what is the spell to give me what I
want, and how do I raise the energy to power it", with "for the good of all
and harm to none" tacked onto the end as an insurance disclaimer.
Kundalini is "Take my ego-desires and replace them with Divine Will be
done". They are kind of polarized. Wicca covens gather prana with deosil
circles, to be directed by ego, and Kundalini Witches use widdershins
circles to clear Karma and surrender ego, and Shakti provides the power.

Yes/no/maybe. It is powerful on the level of the power chakra, but on
higher levels it's a game.
I have been drawn lately to looking at what chakra levels different
cultures operate. Native and African forms tend to relate more to the Earth
and lower chakra level power sources, where Eastern and Christian beliefs
are more trancendent. It's not a value judgment, each has it's strengths...
it is a generalization too, because Australian mysticism is Earth based and
Trancendent, both.

No. Not related. The Unconditional love bombs are high level formless
creative energy that speeds up Karma and the effects of "be careful what
you pray for".. it would blow up a curse like the one you mention. The
higher up the chakra you operate from, the more power there is over the
lower chakra dimensions.. and the less motive you have, to use power at all.
That kind of shamanic curse stuff is ego-based magic, made of thought
form entity constructs and bent Faeries. the bigger curses are made by
trapping faeries and projecting human desires onto them till they go mad
and forget their unity. Take a big faiery-Earth spirit Deva and project
human will onto it, till it grows an ego and does what you want, and you
have the Native poltergiest effects you mention. What my buddy Danijel
calls "Astral shit". :)
Periodically I am called to clean up stuff like that, as part of the
"Purification".. but I don't interfere unless I'm asked, usually, because
in the long view there is nothing that happens, that is not Divine will.

Yes, some of the effects are curses cast by pissed-off Shamen, and
some of it is from the nature spirits themselves... which are unified, but
tend to have reigional attachments. Replace a water-Deva's stream with a
sewer pipe, she's not gonna be too happy about that.. and Faeries defend
their turf by provoking fear and confusion in humans.

Well, the whole deal about "local traditions" tends to be about how
much the natives projected their beliefs onto the nature spirits, and how
much of it stuck. Love is love, and energy is energy, it's all formless,
but if the nature spirits have grown to have expectations that they will be
communicated with in a certain way, they will hold to those expectations
till they are set free of the projections. In a perfectly clear space,
Nature Spirits will accept the loving energy no matter what the form of
ritual is. The more humans have mucked with projecting beliefs onto them,
the more specific their requirements of the form of ritual will be... and
the more they will be picky about whom they will accept energy from.

It's not just nature spirits, either, but animal spirits, too. Some
Tribes of humans made a sacred covenant with the spirit of Cattle, eons
ago. We agreed to care for them and protect them, and they agreed to allow
themselves to be eaten and herded. In the places where that covenant has
been broken by feeding cows back to cows, mad cow disease is the result.
This disease is in turn transmitted to humans who eat the meat, and shows
up as a kind of fatal alzhiemers that science has no defense against. The
disease is called Jacobsons's something. People who die of it are not
autopsied, because there is no way to sterilize things afterwards. This
virus will survive bleach or autoclave.. but I believe it does not survive
human blessings.. :)

But in this corner of the

Yep. From the power chakra dimension it is faeris, entities and ghosts,
but move 2 chakras up, and it's all a reflection of who you are. If you are
operating from the power chakra or lower, you can get your ass kicked, but
from the Heart if you open to these beings and reflect them with them
unconditional love, they see their true selves reflected in your heart and
remember what they really are. They pop back into egoless formless ness
with a sensation that gives me giggle-fits. It's a hoot!

Ah, yes there is.. and Goddess has been giving me a lot of
information lately, about the differing spiritual talents of differing
races with regards to their roles in evolution that I am actually quite
acutely uncomfortable with, as it is not very politicaly correct nor
aligned with my moralistic spiritual ethics of equality. Sometimes Goddess
tells me things I'd rather not know, that weigh heavily on the heart that
resonates them as Truth. I don't want to believe what I'm seeing, but every
time I surrender it Goddess gives it back as a bigger picture.
