Dear Isador,

Safety is a relative term. In most traditions, it is stated, that it takes
an average of 20 years of work to 'raise kundalini'. However, even this is
not a hard rule, with certain paths saying that it can be done in about 3 1/2
years if you have the proper training and supervision. These statements are
similar to what is said about the so-called "philosophic stone' in alchemy.
The two seem to be related.

In short though, common sense and an even approach are your best guardians in
any endeavor - esoteric or mundane, for as the Hermetic axiom states, "As
above, so below; as below, so above." Keep your wits about you, persevere
and have faith in your Work, and all should be fine - most of the time <G>.
