I am beginning to think of magic as unknown/undiscovered physics and
in such as itself with a neutral 'spiritual' feel. I must then
discern the heart of the practitioner.

I also have discovered that the alchemical heritage is basically
white people magic, old european. My mythological heritage.... :) if
you want to trace it thru blood lines. It may have its roots in a
mystical eastern tradition but it feels different as a tradition in
its own.If you live in America, being *so* totally white archetype
yankee like me, it's difficult to point to a specific culture as an
inheritance.

My family does have a coat of arms, a coiled snake on the shield.
It's just as likely could have been a briefcase, a twinkie, a tv
set, and a can of coke.

It's that witchy experience too that comes out of europe...celtic,
pictish, druid, etc. That is my ancestor culture which I have never
really begun to embrace until this year... I am studying pictish
(Scotican) and faierie wicca paths. These are ways that are calling
to me and I have made some cool discoveries.

How so like an American to create something out of nothing...lol

So then, I must say, I am enjoying Mark's info cause it does give me
insight on my culture's mythological history.
