Subject: Re: [K-list] the "evil" in all of us

<< Question... if we choose to create the world we desire, it being a natural
fallout of our ability to be creators ( Brahmins, in Hindu symbols), why
would we not give ourselves enough discrimination to create a world where we
need not go through the process of going through evil in order to realise
good, but just have a world of permanent good? >>

This would be the same as staying in the perpectual bliss of original
ignorance. There would be nothing to challange the consciousness, as such,
nothing to experience, and nothing to learn.

When we imagine something, and bring ot to fruition, how often don''t we say,
"Boy that isn't what I expected it to be like!" ?

As consciousness trades off energy to CREATE matter, it descends in a series
of 10 levels (in qabala, as well as some schools of Budhism). THe distortion
that takes place at each level is best described in cubic form. We go from
having a perfect (imagined ideal) cube of six even and equal sides. With each
level, as it moves closer to materialization, it shifts slightly as it
encounters resistance. By the time it reaches material reality (Malkooth),
it has has become a dechedron!

By the time we 'reach' earth, we have traded off almost all of our
consciousness and energy, to create matter. In esotericism, we reverse the
process, that is why the conservation of energy (sexual power) and bodily
purification (cleansing the nadis for a reversal of the flow from matter back
to an energy state as seen in diamond body yoga, chi kung, and the 'body of
light' of the Gnostics) is so important.

In alchemy, and qabala, the goal is to reclaim our original estate, and
create a condition where we can continue to create consciously, and with
wisdom, to manifest the 'perfect cube' (or smooth ashlar as it is called in
Freemasonry) on Earth. When this is done, we have built the divine temple (of
Solomon) for only smooth stones can be placed in the walls of the temple.

Please note that in Judaism and its neighboring religions (mostly
Gnosticism), there are several creation myths, in which the first attempt
didn't go right even for the creator! Why should we be any different<G>?

I hope this answers your question.
