Impatience is fascinating to me of late. For me it often accompanies feeling
burdened. I've known for awhile that it is an unhappy reflection of
self-importance, but only lately have I seen how much fear is underneath --
fear of loss, being unloved and alone. Sometimes if I can get to the
vulnerability under impatience, I can watch it morph into joy. Holly
