Subject: [K-list] Peep 2
From: Kathryne O' Connell

On 2000/05/31 16:05, Kathryne O' Connell posted thus to the K-list:

Dear Friends,
It appears that my little peep has brightened up things on the list once
again, now that Tony is back masquerading as St. Brigid.
Really I suppose the one we have to thank is Sheila-na-Gig.
I want to thank those of you who leapt to my defence. Thank you Susan, Lou,
Hillary and all. I had to reread my posting, as I found the interpretation
of what I said way off the mark. My sharing of the image I received was in
relation to Lynda's dream, when she received a list with letters on it.
Sheila-na-Gig was the image that insisted on being known, and I felt that
this would be helpful for Lynda. This is the only motivation behind I
explaining her essence and power. She is a Divine Feminine Celtic Goddess
representing Power, Sexuality, Mystery and Protection. Her stone carvings
adorned the doors of churches and convents and castles dating back thousands
of years. When the Celtic Church was Christianised, many of these relics
were destroyed. Hundreds of these images and relics were locked away in the
National Museum until a few years ago.
There are many books written about her, for those that are interested.
Unfortunately, I was not so much sharing my journey right now. I am indeed
not trying to disown her influence on me, nor am I have difficulties with
quote Tony "confusion, sexual perversion and attachment". I do not feel a
need to broaden my studies, in fact as I stated in my letter, I am in a
process of unlearning. I have been through hell with my Kundalini
experiences, for almost 20years, and I am here to learn and share whatever I
can. I organise Celtic Pilgrimages to Ireland, among other activities such
as Nursing, Healing and Mothering.
I did not deserve your twisted interpretation of my sharing, Tony but if
Sheila-na-Gig helps to heal the repressed sexual energy that is your
essence, then I ask her humbly to be my protector. I presume that you were
annoyed with my remarks about not being an enlightened Irishman.
Yes Susan, it felt was like a slap. No,in fact it felt like a rape of my
essence.
I also thought it was interesting that Brigid is the name being used. Brigid
is the goddess of Light,Fire, Childbirth, Poetry and Healing. Her name
should not be used casually to hide behind. She is the Keeper Of The Flame
for over seven hundred years at KIldare, and her Flame was relight 7 years
ago and stays lighting. Sheila-na-Gig adornes the door of St. Brigid's
Temple in Kildare.
On a much lighter note I would like to finish with another image that keeps
coming to me since I read the postings over the past few days.
This is not sexual or perverse, rather it gives an indication of how I feel
about it all!. Its all so very silly and childish!

Little Bo-Peep lost her sheep,
and didn't know where to find them.
Leave them Alone
They will come Home...
Bringing their Tails behind them.

Channelled using a very high Celtic frequency by Sheila-na-Gig...

So much Love to you all,
Katie
