I did not have an NDE but my mother did when I was perhaps two yrs. old.
She told me about it a few years later. She was very ill from a pregnancy
she had no idea about. When diagnosed with a life threatening infection
which had travelled through her body it was found that a three month fetus
had died within her and started to decompose.
She was telling me about the magnificent LIGHT and powerfully beautiful
MUSIC she heard, music and singing surpassing all and any of the classics
she loved so much and sang so often with her choir. The most important
event on that heavenly journey was that she was shown things and told about
others and then told to forget them when going back. She travelled back and
all the while she stubbornly said to herself "I won't forget, I won't
forget.............." She woke up because the hospital nun thought she was
dead and rattled on what she thought were false teeth but were really the
most beautiful, authentic snow white teeth for which my Mom was famous in
our small town. The minute she was awake she said out loud "I will
remember" but now the memory disappeared instantly. I was lucky to have
heard this story because when NDS were finally written about 30-40 years
later, I had no trouble in believing these accounts.
