I liked it very much when Mother Meera, asked about how to love the Divine, answered: ( not exactly quoted) " It's not necessary to love the Divine, you can just as well love your partner, your child, your friend. ( end of quote)
In a way there is only one love and only one beloved, yes?
Sometimes it feels to me this whole experience of being in this body is about nothing else than being in love with the Divine in whatever shape or form.
As Rumi says:
 " In the water of his love i melted like salt
No good, no bod, no conviction, no doubts
remain.
   A star has exploded in my heart
   and the seven skies are lost in it."
