:) Assumes one has a TV! Personally I think real Americans are on the net,
not on TV. At least I seem to meet the thinking variety there/here. I have
no TV (by choice). I'm a Yorkshireman (born there in England) with a
"passport" to live in Scotland ;) Sadly though I don't speak Gaelic, which
has a gorgeous sound and magical history. I manage a wee smattering of
Welsh which is akin.

The most fun American, of our modern UK culture is, to my mind, the
American Bill Bryson, a writer. He touches are souls and makes us laugh by
living here and commenting on our quaint ways.
