hmm.. Well, you could also say that everything is psychological.
Perception occurs thru the psyche, all sensory data, physical and
non-physical is filtered thru the perception mechanism of the unconscious
before it comes into conscious awareness. We don't get it directly.
Amputees feel ghost pains in the missing limb... I feel my wings, but
most folks cannot see them.
Everybody knows that western medicine does not include chakras in their
diagrams of the body systems, so I'm really not sure why you feel the
personal need to belabor such a obvious point.

There are many different religions and spiritual disciplines, and they
don't all use the same model of the chakra system. For example, there are
differences between the chakra model of Kundalini Yoga, the Tree of Life in
Kabbalah, and the use of energy systems in some forms of Martial arts.

Matter is made of energy, anyhow, so... so what?
Above a certain level of perception, the perceptual boundaries between
what is physical and what is energy get very fuzzy, anyhow.. like feeling
the cold that accompanies a ghost, like clairaudience and visions. The cold
feels physical, the voices apprear to be real sounds, but others, who have
not opened perceptions don't feel or hear these phenomena.

Chakras are part of the energy body, the electrical field generated by
the nervous system. Ghosts have a psyche, but I haven't noticed that they
have chakras... except for the ascended ones, who have evolved an energy
body that is strong enough to remain when the body has faded.
  Blessings..
