Freya asks: Can someone explain "Ego" in the context of spirituality.
It has been my experience that people who say they have let go of
their ego's , still often have very strong personalities, and this
seems to me to be a paradox.

Does anyone have a clear simple definition.?

We are, imho, always in the context of spirituality...

You are either the master of your ego or your it is slave. If the ego
is a horse, does it ride on your back telling you what to do or do
you make it obey you. You are not your ego. Your ego is something that
is finished being created by the time you are two years old but we
confuse the little i with the big I. I like to think of it as the
Creator cant tell the difference between Itself and it's creation.

Kinda funny, any ego display is that of a 2 year old cloaked in adult
words. If you are like me, you can see it in everybody you look at,
except yourself. Nothing is weirder than seeing a spiritual person
throw a spiritual tantrum...heehee.....

Hope that helps.
Blessings,
Susan
