I don't trust synthetics...10 years from now they'll probably be an "Oops!"
and people dropping dead from cancer. I prefer meat and animal products...I
have serious doubts on the theory that a cow's only purpose in life is to be
a four-legged lawn mower. ;-) In my reckoning, plants are alive too...so
killing a plant is on par with an animal, IMO. The thing is not to waste or
kill for the joy of killing...
