In some ways, that's what we get. Spirit, cannot be harmed, and we have
wide-open choices to shape our reality, before we come into physicality,
and to some degree, after. We invent our games... then we forget it is a

That's nature, I think.. they say every generation goes against the
one before it.. that's individuation. Especially, in the recent decades of
the western world.
The postwar parents were focused on sexual morality and materialism,
they gave birth to the Hippies, free love and communes. The Hippies gave
birth to the yuppies, make a million by the time you are thirty and climb
the corporate ladder, sleeping your way to the top if need be. Not free
love, sex as an item of barter. They gave birth to the Ravers.. who are
closer to their Hippie grandparents, than to their parents, but with less
of the optimism of activism, and love carries a price tag of AIDS risk.
Every action creates an equal and opposite reaction.

History shows you are right. Humans seem to need some resistance to
push against, to become strong, otherwise they become decadent and lose
respect for the gift of life. We in the west, live in luxury that Solomon
never dreamt of.. refrigerators, cars, television.. and schoolchildren
shooting each other, for a kick. African bushmen treat each other more
kindly, than the average group of westerners.

Yes, that is my experience, also.. unconditional love, no matter what
we do. So beautiful. Thankyou, for expressing it so well.
