Right now I'm in the middle of writing you a gently violent attack for
your
negative opinions of Osho. I interrupted writing to pick up the mail, and
here
you are!! So I guess I'm meant to post my opinions of Osho, instead. :)

I attack you, because I love you. I attacked El and Christopher last
week,
too.. with gentle violence... because I love them utterly. They are
radiant, in
their human beauty. I'm half German, ya know, it is how we show love. :)

El attacked me back with sarcastic humor, and I was overjoyed! I felt
totally loved, it made me want to squish her with hugs. :) Her wit is far
superior to my own, she cracks me right up with the laughter of radiant
TRUTH... and the best part, is she is not at all attached to it, so I bow to
her Mastery.

This is true Angelique. El blows us all away some time or another with her
immense powers of perception. She sees through us like we are transparent.
Maybe it is because she has seen through herself and has that level of
sensitivity and understanding and brings that to bear in humor and insight.
Anyway what total hilarity and laughter some of her posts bring. I don't
want to encourage El too much. Just be spontaneous baby! Yeah, like you need
to be told :--). El is the fragrance that is always around, but you really
feel her when she socks it to you!

By the way Angelique, I wrote a post on HarshaSangha acknowledging the great
role K-List played in formation of many other lists. So we bow to the Mother
List :-).

Some comments about Osho/Rajneesh. In the 1970s, when I first started
reading his discourses printed in "Books of Secrets" I was quite fascinated.
I tried to read every one of his books that I could get my hands on. In my
view, Osho's early discourses (1970s) remain the most brilliant and
insightful and most fresh. Rajneesh was an intellectual powerhouse and
extremely gifted individual. He was a Professor of Philosophy in Bombay and
was born in a Jaina family. My teacher, the first Jaina teacher to ever
leave India in 2500 years, knew Rajneesh well and in fact introduced him to
a large gathering in Bombay. Rajneesh's "career" really took of in the
1970s. Rajneesh was an extremely controversial figure and there is a wide
range of views on him. The fact that he was highly influential is obvious.
Many of his early discourses and scriptural commentaries are profound and
brilliant and will continue to have an impact.

Harsha
