Well, I hope it *will* allow. K has the tendency to shorten the attention 
span sometimes, and reading/studying/thinking too much makes one feel 
rather "spacy". However, the random, weird, creative "genius" that k 
sometimes gives might be a balancing benefit. K also seems to promote type 
A personality - I frequently interrupt people and complete their 
sentences, if they seem to be too "slow"... and passively listening to 
longwinded lectures (which is the standard procedure in universities) can 
be quite a drag. It seems like a self-inflicted attention deficit 
disorder.
