>< Have you ever had the sneaking suspicion that enlightenment may be
>< much simpler than we think, and we're maybe all taking the scenic route?>....Absolutely....actually I accept that we are enlightened...everyone to their own degree...but still extremely so...and that we have amnesia. Sometimes we get glimpses of the beauty on the other side of the forgetfulness. As one let's go of every opinion, judgement, fear, desire and much more...even the teachers that we think have the answers...we create more room within our consciousness to see and experience the truth that is already there and who we are...I like what Sai Baba said...."The only difference between you and me is that I know that I Am God...".

>its not complicated -- it is simple
>it is to realize our own buddhahood (supreme >life condition) and express
>everyday for eternity

<<<I suspect it is simple if you can put down your
likes and dislikes and accept the universe as
it is.
Which is however, not simple. :)
withdraw the senses and the myriad of
wants
watch the energy that are emotions
and thoughts move inside the mind
And see that the mind is empty and still not so
filled by eternity
having no owner but reality>>>...This is wonderful...Although I don't know if withdrawing the senses completes this fully...The senses to me are expanded but still there...a wholistic sense of connection to all....even in the experience of No-thing....you sense that....otherwise you would not know that you had the experience of nothing.....We are a sensing machine....I think part of the trick is not to label, judge or become attached to what we sense...Just "be" that. And in any case...the more you turn your senses inward...the greater your sense of the seeming outer reality....which is you also...That being said...there is a gap which one goes to...where nothing is sensed and time dissolves. The only way you know you were there is when you come back...Maybe the goal is to stay conscious there also....?
Syena.......
