Forgiveness is unnecessary, for generalizations are
meant to be challenged. Here is how I came to it. I
have been diagnosed with manic-depression. I am well
acquainted with the physical feeling of mania. I also
am very aware of the flow of energy in my body.
Recently I started up my practice of pseudo-celibacy
to raise the energy level in my body and to further
the rising of K. I have only stuck to this practice
leading to the rise of K on three occasions. The
first two times I ended up becoming very manic
according to doctors. The first time, I had an
inkling of what was wrong and the cause. I thought I
could control this "mania" and said so to doctors,
unbelieved of course. The second time, I had an
inspiration, possibly triggered by a social worker, of
what was wrong while moving K in my body. I soon
forgot my conclusion in the ensuing downward spiral
during which I drained myself of as much energy as
possible which led, naturally, of course, to minor
depression.

Now we come to the third time: now. As I have
mentioned to the list, K has risen again, and again,
it is in the wrong channel - thanks so much Angelique
for identifying this. The wrong channel would be
right by the spine instead of the central channel.
While K was in this channel, I noted that I
occasionally switch over into a hypomanic state - I
get really hyper; I know the feeling. This state has
occurred once or twice a day for the past several
days. Each time, K was in the wrong channel. I
haven't determined precisely where it was, but my I
gave my best guess. My second best guess would be
that K was stuck in a really short channel that began
and ended near the base of the spine. Each time
though, as soon as I moved K to the central channel,
the hyper feeling left me, and I was much relieved.
If the state occurs again, I will take careful note of
where K is. I do know that for me, putting K in the
right place fixes me.

So I don't have proof greater than my own personal
anecdotal experience, but it is worth drawing a
conclusion from and expressing it. If science wanted
to test my theory, it would first have to figure out
how to find and measure the magnitude of K, and then
it would have to carry out multiple measurement
experiments on a manic and control group, and even
that would only provide "evidence in support of" and
not absolute proof.
